CARLOS CAMACHO, LIBRARY BILINGUAL SPECIALIST
Carlos earned a bachelor’s degree in Mexico before joining the Library. One of Carlos’ most enduring legacies is Story Fiesta, a program featuring hilarious storytelling and George, the sheepdog puppet. Carlos has presented state wide workshops on bilingual literacy, and he coordinates the Library’s America Reads program, matching children and volunteer tutors to boost reading skills. CULTURE, PARKS AND REC:
DAVE FUENTES, OGDEN ECCLES CONFERENCE CENTER EXECUTIVE CHEF
During his 15 years at OECC, Dave has prepared hundreds of thousands of meals. He has customized over 350 menus for clients having events at OECC. He is a fabulous chef, friend, mentor, and runs a highly efficient kitchen. We couldn’t be more proud to have Dave here in Weber County.

ATTORNEY’S OFFICE:
SEAN BRIAN, PROSECUTOR
In addition to his heavy criminal case load, Sean Brian also serves in drug court and mental health court – important proactive efforts to reduce drug dependency and recidivism in Weber County. When he’s not training for a Spartan race, Sean is volunteering his time to assist the Weber County Search and Rescue drone program, where he is one of a select few licensed to operate drones under FAA guidelines. Sean’s dedication and commitment to Weber County is unsurpassed.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE:
DETECTIVE MICHAEL ROCHE
Detective Roche recently received the American Spirit Award from the American Spirit Project. He was nominated for the award because his supervisors received a letter from a member of the community. In the letter, the individual explains that the “love of his life” took her own life early this year. The individual explains that Detective Roche was the investigator that responded to his residence that horrible day. The individual knew that Detective Roche had a job to do to thoroughly investigate the cause of death. The individual commended Detective. Roche on his work and sensitivity to his pain. During this devastating time, Detective Roche checked in with him twice over the six months and provided comforting feedback, compassion, and empathy. The individual concluded his letter stating, “I can’t say enough about how highly I regard Detective Roche.”

SHERIFF’S OFFICE –
CORRECTIONS DIVISION: CORPORAL DANIELLE GOODELL
Corporal Danielle Goodell is a tremendous leader at the Weber County Sheriff’s Office. Her current assignment is as the Grievance and Community Release Corporal within the Corrections Division. She is an outstanding example for our staff members to follow and look up to. Corporal Goodell is an active member of our Peer Support Group and our Special Operations Group. She recently attended the Inaugural First Responder Women 2022: Lift, Inspire, Focus, Empower for Life Retreat from which she brought back numerous ideas and motivations to increase and retain women in our chosen career of Corrections.

ASSESSOR’S OFFICE:
MELANIE LITTLEY, CUSTOMER SERVICE REP
Melanie is one-of-a-kind! Her customer service skills exceed expectations, her attention to detail is astonishing, and her presence lightens and brightens the mood. Melanie is a true team player, with impeccable job performance. Kindness and respect come naturally to her. (I wonder if we could clone her?)

COMMISSION OFFICE:
SHELLY HALACY, EXECUTIVE COORDINATOR
Shelly has worked in the Commission Office for over 20 years. Along with her many responsibilities, she is the Project Manager for the R.A.M.P., and has been involved with it since the beginning. She is a great example of leadership, knowledge, and teamwork. A typical response you might get from her is, “I’m happy to help!” We love working with Shelly and appreciate all she does to make the Commission Office run efficiently.

TREASURER’S OFFICE:
LYNELLE, JENSEN, SENIOR AUDITOR/BUDGET ANALYST
Lynelle Jensen, CPA has worked in the Weber County Treasurer’s office since 2007. She is the resident expert in many of the county accounting systems and works extensively with all county departments to assist them with accounting issues. She recently completed her master’s degree from Weber State University in accounting and finished top in her class. She is so dedicated, smart, and kind, and we are lucky to have her in the Treasurer’s office!

ADMINISTRATION SERVICES:
CANDIS WARREN, ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
Candis is the first line of contact for citizens applying for positions with Weber County and for new Weber County employees. She provides an exemplary level of customer service to potential and existing employees and always has a smile to greet customers. Candis truly embodies the concept of making Weber County a premier employer.

CLERK/AUDITOR’S OFFICE:
ENTIRE ELECTIONS OFFICE TEAM
The Weber County Elections Team has earned national recognition for elections security and transparency. Lauren, Daniel, Megan, and Stacy continue to develop new ways to tighten safeguards on election procedures. They also host open houses so the community can see our processes up close. June’s primary election was secure and reliable, and the team is already working hard on November’s election.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:
JAIME GREEN – COUNTY FLEET MAINTENANCE OFFICE MANAGER
Jaime is the “go-to” person for anything related to the county’s vehicles and equipment. Jaime always greets customers with a smile and goes out of her way to meet their needs. Despite working in a demanding job, she has a helpful attitude and pays attention to detail. She has worked hard to find ways to lower costs and operate the shop more efficiently.
